Funeral services for Mrs. Martin E. Johnson.72,longtime resident of the Big Spring area who died suddenly at her farm home Wednesday, were held at 2:30 Sunday at the Union Creek Lutheran church. Rev. Aloden Backman officicating. Burial was in the Union Creek cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 7, 1892 at Halsingland, Norway and later came to the United States. She married Martin E. Johnson February 22, 1911 at Big Spring and they farmed in the area all their married life.

Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Johnson of Big Spring; a son Lloyd R. Johnson of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister Mrs. Christine Erickson of Princeton, Minn. and two granddaughter
