Funeral service for Mrs. E.M.(Millie) Bancroft,77,who died at the hospital here Sunday, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the Barnard Funeral home. Drt. G.S. Bruland officiated with burial in Grace Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Bancroft was born May 24, 1887, in Union county near Hawarden. She married Ernest Bancroft January 10, 1906, in Hawarden. For a short time she lived at Canton, SD. Mrs. Bancroft was a member of the First Methodist church in Hawarden.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Edson of Alcester, and two brothers, Harvey Cox of Albany, Ore., and John Cox of Havre, Mont.
