Funeral Services for Mrs. Joe Vanden Hul,61, of Ireton who died Monday, June 29 at a hospital after suffering a strokes 10 days earlier were held Wednesday at the First Reformed church in Ireton. Rev Stephen Veldhuis officiated. Burial was in East Lawn cemetery at Sheldon.

Mrs Mina nee(Rensink) Vanden Hul was born June 28, 1903, at Matlock, Iowa. She was Married to Joe Vanden Hul January28, 1925, at Hollandale, Minn. They farmed at Archer before moving to a farm near Ireton.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.John Meendering jr., of Sioux Center; two sons, Arnold of Sheldon and Marlo of Ireton; five grandchildren; a sister, Miss Edith Rensink of Alexander, Minn. and two brother Arnold of Hayfield, Iowa and Barnard of Alexandria. Mr. Vanden Hul died 17 days before June 12.
