Funeral Services for Mrs.Tom Tilgner,29,who died after a brief illness at the Hawarden Community hospital Sunday, were to be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday, February 21, at the Associated church. Rev. Wn S. Sebring officiating. Burial was to be in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Funeral home.

Eileen Swanson was born February16, 1933, in Hawarden and was the older of the two daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Swanson of Union county, South Dakota. She attended Petry and Williams schools and was a 1951 graduate of Hawarden high school. She also attended Bethel college at St. Paul, Minn. She was married to Thomas C. Tilgner on July 24, 1960 and made her home in Hawarden.

Mrs. Tilgner was a member of the Associated church, the Associated Fellowship, and the Associated choir. She was vice president of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a member of the Music and Drama department of the Hawarden Woman's club.

Survivors include the Widower,Tom; two sons at home, Kory and Tracy; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Swanson and a sister Carole, of Granada Hills, Calif.
