Grace W. Vande Berg,84,of Sioux Center died Monday in the Sioux Center Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Vande Berg, the former Grace Willemsen, was born Sept. 19, 1901 in Middleburg and was a lifelong resident of Sioux Center. She married John Vande Berg Dec 31,1923 in Sioux Center. She was a foster parent at Hope Haven in Rock Valley for 12 years and had been a resident of the Nursing Wing of Sioux Center Hospital the last two month.

Survivors include her husband; two sons B.J.(Jim) of Boise, Idaho, and Don of Sioux Center; three sisters, Mary Willemsen of Sioux Center, Jennie Feibig of Des Monines and Mrs.Art(Cora) Van Wyk of Bakersfield, Calif.; three grandson and four great grandchildren.
