Funeral Service For John Bauder At Peace Lutheran
Funeral services for Mr. John Bauder, 81, were held at the Peace Lutheran church on Friday, November 17, 1950 with Rev. C. J. Rebelein in charge.
Burial was made at the church cemetery.
Mr. Bauder died on his farm southwest of Rock Valley on Wednesday, November 15, 1950. Mr. Bauder was born May 12. 1869, at Elgin, Iowa. He was married to Miss Amelia Pfarrer at Orange City September 26, 1901, and to this union were born seven children. He had been a member and active worker in Peace Lutheran church during his 49 years in this vicinity.
Survivors are the widow; seven children, Walter at home, Clarence and Roy of Hawarden; Mrs. Alma Hebern and Mabel of Oakland, Calif.; Arthur of Sioux Center and Mrs. Mildred Ricklefs of Bettendorf, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Ida Miller, Mrs. F. A. Miller and Fred Bauder of Rock Valley and George Bauder of Long Beach, Calif.
