Peter Ganzeveld Dies in Michigan

Children living here received word of the death of their father, Peter Ganzeveld, which took place in a home for the aged at Grand Rapids, Mich., early Monday morning [Oct. 12]. He had suffered from a stroke some time ago and never fully recovered and it is thought another stroke overtook him and brought on death. He had reached the age of 62 years and is the father of fourteen living children, several of whom are living near Ireton. Mrs. Peter Van Wyhe and Mrs. Bryan Van Wyhe are two of the daughters. The deceased lived near Ireton many years, most of the time farming. He was a man of character, Christian principles and ideals, and many friends regret his passing and extend sympathy to the sorrowing wife and children.
