FATHER OF MRS. THOS. GANT DIES

David Kinleyside, 87, of Sioux City, father of Mrs. Thos. Gant of Hawarden, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Minna Hamlin, in Sioux City after a three weeks' illness. Funeral services were held from the Nelson-Berger Funeral home Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Gant attended the services.

David Kinleyside was born at Montreal, Canada, June 29, 1855, and came to the United States as a young man. For more than 40 years he was employed by the Knapp & Spencer Co. in Sioux City. He retired 12 years ago.

Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mae Clark of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Hamlin of Sioux City; Mrs. Edith Gant of Akron, and Mrs. Gant of Hawarden. There are 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
