MYRTLE HOLSTER

Myrtle Holster was born in Plymouth County on Sept. 29, 1904 to John and Jennie (Foreman) Holster. She passed away May 17 in the Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, Calif.

She spent her childhood south of Carnes, attended high school in LeMars and college in Morningside, Vermillion and Chicago. She was a lifelong school teacher and did tutoring after retiring.

She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Brandt of Fairfield, Calif., and was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Adrain.

Memorial services were held at North Glendale United Methodist Church on May 20 in Glendale.

A memorial service for friends and relatives from this area will be held June 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the First Reformed Church of Orange City with Rev. Leland Foreman officiating. Interment will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.
