SHIELA J. DAGGETT

Shiela J. Daggett, 40, of Hawarden, died Wednesday, May 13, 1987, in a hospital in Hawarden after a sudden illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in the West Sioux High School Auditorium in Hawarden. Rev. Jalmer Eldal, Rev. Fredrich Mellberg and Rev. Robert Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jeff Eilts, Jon Klemme, Gary Wilkison, Don Heyl, Phil Anderson and Jack Borchers. Ushers were Barry Kuiper, Dike Scroggs, Earl Steinhoff and Jack Andela.

Mrs. Daggett, the former Shiela Brigger, was born May 23, 1946, in Hampton. She moved with her parents to Lennox, SD, in 1952. She graduated from Lennox High School and attended Sioux Falls College. She married Warren Kramer September 4, 1965. She married Dr. James Daggett March 27, 1972, in Sioux Falls. The couple lived in Lennox until 1975 when they moved to Hawarden.

Mrs. Daggett was a member of the American Lutheran Church. She served on the hospital auxiliary board and Women's Hawarden Golf Club board.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Scott Daggett of Denton, TX; Todd Daggett of College Station, TX; and Troy and Mike Kramer and Craig Daggett, all of Hawarden; two daughters, Anne Horn of Houston, TX, and Heather Daggett of Hawarden; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brigger, Jr. of Mesa, AZ; three sisters, Sherry Jelsma of Worthing, SD, Penny McClinton of Des Moines and Rosemary Bannick of Mesa; a brother, Kelly Brigger of Chandler, AZ; grandfather, Walter Brigger, Sr. of Heron Lake, MN, and a granddaughter.
