VIOLA FRANK

Viola Frank, 92, of Hawarden, died Wednesday, May 18, 1994, at the Hawarden Community Hospital.

Services were held Friday at the Porter-Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden with Rev. Paul Hansen of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Eden Cemetery at Hudson, SD. Visitation was held Thursday at the funeral home.

Miss Frank was born March 11, 1902, in Hawarden, the daughter of Willis "Jess" and Frances H. "Dolly" (Marshall) Frank. She moved with her family to Jasper, MN, in 1922, and they returned to Hawarden in 1929. She was employed at the Otis Radio and later at the Central Cafe in Hawarden.

Miss Frank was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star and a current member of the Hawarden Hospital Auxiliary and United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Willis Frank and his wife Agnes of Hawarden; a sister, Bethel Carr and her husband Arlyn of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys in infancy; Rosella Jepson, Eva Friedrich and Frances Zieg; and a nephew, Gary Carr.
