ANNA VAN GINKEL

Anna Van Ginkel, 81, Rock Valley, died Sunday, June 23, 1991 in Valley Manor, Rock Valley.

Anna Groeneweg was born Dec. 29, 1909, near Rock Valley. She married Henry Van Ginkel on Feb. 7, 1930, in Sioux Center, Iowa. They lived near Inwood, Iowa, before moving to Rock Valley in 1932 where Henry had a trucking service for many years. They moved to the Valley Manor in October 1988. Henry died March 14, 1989.

Survivors include two sons: Everett and Harold, both of Rock Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Wallenburg, Red Bluff, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Lavina) Vanden Brink, Sioux Center; and Mrs. Gerrit (Bernice) Hub, Corsica; 36 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; four brothers: John, Simon, Walter and Albert, all of Rock Valley; and three sisters: Mrs. Rena De Vries, LeMars, Iowa; Mrs. Clarence (Lyda) Terpstra, Hawarden, Iowa; and Mrs. John (Pat) Bauman, Rock Valley.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Netherlands Reformed Church, Rock Valley, with burial in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley. Visitation with the family present from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, in Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.
