Funeral of Thos. Brunskill

The funeral of Thos. Brunskill whose death occurred last Thursday morning, was held from the home of his mother, Mrs. Ruth Brunskill of Eagle township, Saturday afternoon and interment was made in Grace Hill cemetery. Rev. C. H. Young, pastor of the M. E. church, conducted the funeral services.

Thomas Brunskill was born at Monticello, Wis., March 12, 1868, where he resided until he was seven years of age when he moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Brunskill, to Plymouth county, Iowa. Eight years later he moved with his parents to the present home where he died at the age of 46 years, 9 months and 21 days. About three years ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis and has since been an invalid. About three weeks ago he was taken worse and with the weakened condition of his heart gradually sank until the end came at 4 o'clock a.m. Dec. 3rd. Besides his aged mother he leaves three brothers to mourn his loss, John and Simeon Brunskill of Hawarden and Mecca Brunskill of Redig, S.D.
