From the Alton Democrat of Dec 16, 1893 Granville News.
A little daughter was born to Mr. And Mrs. Chas. Bobzin of Caledonia Township last week, and are sorry to tate, that four days after the birth of the child its mother died. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire communtiy in their terrible misfortune.
(Found a family history on ancestry.com that matches this family however a few descrepancies possible in that account. Karl JOhann W. T. F. Bobzin born 1848 Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany, married Anna Emma Esch born 1853 died 1893. They had possibly seven children - Louise 1872, Karl 1875, Emil 1879, Anna 1885, Emma 1887, Emily 1890 and the infant possilby Olga who died 1893. Then Charles/Karl married (Mrs. Ada Pugh) b. 1868 after 1893 ?; child born to them Albert 1898. In the 1900 census Ada has two Pugh children by a previous marriage Harry 11 and Floyd 9.
