Thomas L. Gayer, 40, of Omaha, Nebraska, a Rock Valley native, died Thursday, July 11, 1991 at an Omaha hospital as a result of an accident.

Tom was born Oct. 24, 1950 - the son of Bernard and Delores (Hoff) Gayer. He grew up in Rock Valley and graduated from Rock Valley High School. He was a business analyst for First National Bank in Omaha.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Adam) Gayer of Omaha; sons Brian and Eric, daughters Carmen and Megan, stepson Aaron and stepdaughter Nicole; his parents Bernard and Delores Gayer of Rock Valley, his brothers, his twin Terry of Ottawa, KS, and David of Okoboji, IA; sister Lori Flom of Pacific Junction, IA; and sisters Linda McClean, Newport, NE.; Barb Patrick, Council Bluffs, IA; and Sandra Brodwin, San Gabriel, CA. His uncle, Lloyd Gayer and other aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.

Tom was an organ donor.

Services were held at 11 A.M., Monday in the Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak & Cutler Mortuaries, Omaha and Pastor David Larsen of Lutheran Church of The Master, Omaha officiating.
