KEIZER, STILLWELL, VANDERWOUDE

Edward B. Keizer, 68, died unexpectedly Tuesday [Feb. 3] at his home in Alton. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the United Presbyterian Church at Alton. The Rev. Carol Gailey and the Rev. Robert Vander Schaaf will officiate. Burial will be in Nassau Township Cemetery at Alton.

Mr. Keizer was born April 6, 1918, at Alton, the son of John and Etta (Stillwell) Keizer. He married Sena Vander Woude Feb. 28, 1943, in Lynden, Washington. He worked for the Alton Rendering Works for 29 years, retiring in 1980.

Mr. Keizer was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps and was a member of Floyd Post 200, American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Sena; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Lynne) Vander Broek of Orange City; four sons, Don of Tucson, Arizona, Brad of Sioux City, Stan of Alton and Bruce of Oyens; five grandchildren; a brother, Gerald of Alton; and a sister, Mrs. Bob (Esther) Vander Schaaf of Alton.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
