Mrs. Sena Keizer, age 74, of Alton, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1993 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Alton Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert Vander Schaaf will officiate. Interment will follow at Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.

Sena was born April 7, 1918 at Harrison, S.D., the daughter of Klaas and Albertje (Schreuder) Van Der Woude. She was raised in the New Holland, S.D. area and attended rural schools there.

On Feb. 28, 1943 she married Edward B. Keizer at Lynden, Wash. They made their home in Alton. Mr. Keizer died Feb. 3, 1987 at Alton.

She was a member of the Alton Presbyterian Church where she belonged to the Presbyterian Women and was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Lynne) Vander Broek of Orange City; four sons, Don of Tucson, Ariz., Brad of Sioux City, Stan of Alton and Bruce of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Erin, Derek, and Kristin Vander Broek; Michelle Taylor, and Brett and Ryan Keizer; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Vande Steeg of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Luke (Dena) Feller of Lynden, Wash., and Mrs. Judson (Clara) Roghair of Alton; and two brothers, Henry Van Der Woude of Doon, and Peter Van Der Woude of Lynden.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by another brother, named Peter.
