Death of Mrs. Schon's Sister

Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett, 70, of Sioux City, a sister of Mrs. M. Schon of Hawarden, died last Friday in a Sioux City hospital following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Schon spent the past six weeks at the bedside of her sister. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1867, but she came to Sioux City with her parents when still a child. Her husband, Henry Y. Barrett, preceded her in death 18 years. She is survived by one son and one daughter, Miles J. Barrett and Mrs. T. A. Beacom of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Schon of Hawarden and Mrs. W. C. Vrandenburg of St. Cloud, Minn., and one brother, J. M. Phillips of Syracuse, N.Y.

Funeral services were held in a Catholic church in Sioux City Monday morning.
