Harriet Helen Bruget, 73, of Hawarden, died Sept. 11, 1992, at her residence after a long illness.

Services were Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawarden with Rev. Edmond Adams officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bruget was born Nov. 29, 1918, at Hawarden, daughter of Jay and Lena Ashmore. She graduated from Hawarden high school in 1937, and married Ralph Bruget Jan. 19, 1946. She lived all her life in Hawarden.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Raymond and his wife Linda of Billings, Mont., and Ronald of Hawarden; two daughters, Jaylene and her husband Alex Pirro of Santa Anna, Calif., and Deborah Kirk of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 10 grandchildren, and two nieces, Judy Tourillott and Colleen Burke.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jay Ashmore
