Dick Den Hartog, a resident of the County Home for 30 years, passed on Monday at the age of 67. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3:30 P.M., in the Van Etten Funeral parlor, interment following in the Orange City cemetery.

Mr. Den Hartog was brought up in the Alton and Hospers vicinity and Rev. Doctor of Hospers had charge of the services. Relatives present included Mrs. Jane Slouthouber and Dora, Mr. & Mrs. Herman Scholten and 3 children, Mrs. Dick De Graaf, Herman Den Hartog, all of Alton, Walter and John Den Hartog of Hospers, Ed of Sanborn, Mrs. James Den Hartog of Sheldon, Mrs. Ed Den Hartog and four daughters of Sioux Center, besides a large group of other relaltives and friends, with 75 people present.
