Dena Den Hartog, 92, of Sheldon died Wednesday in a nursing home in Sheldon.
Services were at 1:30 P.M., Saturday in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Kenneth Westrate officiated. Burial was in the East Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.
Mrs. Den Hartog, the former Dena Geurink, was born Jan. 16, 1891, at Orange City.
She married James Den Hartog, Feb. 17, 1916 at Orange City. He died May 7, 1944.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Gerritt (Florence) Dykstra of Ashton; Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Haack of Primghar; Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Ten Clay and Mrs. Maynard (Edna) Dykstra, both of Sheldon and Mrs. James (Arlene) Ver Mulm of Hartley; four sons, Robert, Willard, Elmer and Eugene, all of Sheldon; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Aberson and Mrs. Alice Wiersma, both of Orange City and Mrs. Albert Engbers of LeMars; 39 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.
