Funeral services were held at Rock Valley Friday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary's Church for Gregory Gacke, who passed away at the Hull Hospital Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30th after a nine days illness of a severe appolectic stroke.

Presiding at the funeral High Mass was Father D. T. McGoey, pastor of St. Mary's Rock Valley, and Father Althoff of Canton, S.D., delivered the sermon.

Father Beacon of Alvord and Father R. Graf of Hawarden presided in the Sanctuary. Alter boys were Jerome Murphy of Hull, Michael Schemmer and Leonard Kaskie of Rock Valley.

He leaves to mourn his passing a large number of relatives and friends.

Agnes and Veronica at home, his brothers, August of Rock Valley, Ben of Alvord and Martin of Rock Rapids, his sisters, Mrs. Peter De Smet of Sheldon, Mrs. Eva O'Connor of Roger, Arkansas.

Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery in Hull.

Pallbearers were Peter Delire, Herman Kaster, Frank Graham, Angelo Quinn, John Murphy and Matt McCabe. Kraai and Van Etten were in charge.
