Betty Wagner, 62, McCune, Kan. and formerly of the Ireton area, died Friday, Feb. 14, 1992 at her home in McCune.

Services were Tuesday at the Vander Ploeg Chapel in Sioux Center. Rev. Perry Schefelker officiated. Burial was in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, rural Sioux Center.

Mrs. Wagner, the former Betty Gradert, was born Nov. 7, 1929 in Sioux county, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Lillian (Heuer) Gradert. She married Charles F. Wagner, Dec. 10, 1947 in Hawarden. The couple lived in the Ireton area until 1972, when they moved to McCune.

Survivors include her husband; a son,'Gary Lynn of Reading, Minn.; two grandchildren, David William Wagner of Chicago and Gary Wayne Wagner of Thayer, Kan.; and five brothers, Herman Gradert Jr., Sibley; Richard Gradert of Ireton; Robert Gradert of Hawarden, and Kenneth and Wilber Gradert, both of Ireton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Charles H. Wagner in 1991.
