Emll Erickson, 73, of Chatsworth, died Dec. 26(1973) In a Lyons, Neb., nursing home.

Services were held Monday, Dec. 30 in the First Baptist Church of Hawarden. The Rev. Douglas Oelke officiated. Burial was made in Grace Hill cemetery in Hawarden under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Mr. Erickson was born Feb. 24, 1901. He came to the United States in 1922, settling in the Lyons, Neb. area. He married Rudy Anderson Jan. 21, 1925. Mr. and Mrs. Erickson moved to Chatsworth in 1948. They retired from farming in 1964. Mr. Erickson was a member of the First Baptist church of Hawarden. Mrs. Erickson died April 13, 1970.

Survivors include three sons, Garland of Oakland, Neb., Gordon of Lyons, Neb., and Gerald of Chatsworth; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
