Schrier, Willie 1892-1893

While Mr. and Mrs. will Schrier were driving to the city from their farm in East Orange township last Thursday, the team became unmanageable in the snow storm and ran into a drift. After a good deal of trouble the team was gotten out but the exposure resulted in the death of their little son , Willis, aged 5 months. The afflicted parents have the sympathy of the entire community.
(This child was the son of William Schreier 1856-1925 and Margaret Bischoff died 1914, family story from the St. Mary's church book of Alton.)
