Peter Cupido died of cancer of the stomach last week Thursday. The funeral services took place at the Holland Christian Ref. Church and were conducted by Rev. E. Van Den Berge.
(In the 1885 census of Holland Township Peter was 37, Tryntje was 46 and Ellis was 14. In the cemetery index of Sioux County Pieter Cupido born 8 Jun 1848 died 5 Apr 1893 wife Tryntje born 27 Feb 1837 died 4 Oct 1895 both buried in Orange City.
