From the Alton Democrat of April 15, 1893 Orange City News.
Mr. Wiersma, aged seventy, died at his home in the west part of town last week Wednesday. Death was caused by asthma. The funeral was held from the First Reformed church last week Friday. Rev. Zwemer conducted the exercises.
(the submitter was unable to find a death of a Mr. Wiersma in any of the available records or on line, to acquire a first name or family info.
