Mrs. Wilper who lives southeast of town, died last Sunday of old age. She was buired Wednesday at St. Mary's cemetery in this city.
(There is no record of her burial that exists today in the St. Mary's records. She is listed in the Sioux County Death records as Mrs. Wilpert 83 yrs died March 19, 1893 a widow born in Germany states she was buried in St. Mary's cemetery in Alton.
She is presumed to be the mother of the two Wilper families living in Nassau township in 1885.
That being Barney b. 1848 wife Maggie b. 1850 and Henry Wilper age 43, and wife Christina age 22 all born in Germany.)
