Mr. Dave Sybesma, 71, passed away Friday evening at his home.
He was born September 20, 1912 in Sioux County, Ia., the son of Syne and Christina (Broek) Sybesma. He married Agnes Klein on February 8, 1938 at Sioux Center. Most of his life was spent in the Orange City area, where he farmed in the Carnes area until retirement ten years ago.
He was a member of Calvary Christian Reformed Church, and past president of the Alton-Carnes Elevator board.
Survivors include: his wife, Agnes; two sons, Stan of Spirit Lake, and Joel of Orange City; a daughter, Mrs. Jan (Linda) Bolluyt of Spirit Lake; seven grandchildren; four brothers, William, John, and Stan, all of Sioux Center, and Syne of Sheldon; four sisters, Miss Betsy Sybesma, Margaret Altena, and Miss Gertrude Sybesma, all of Sioux Center, and Christina Rens of Hull.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Jean; and one brother, Clarence.
