VANDERSTOEP, KRAMP, KOELEWIJN

Mrs. Teunis Vander Stoep passed away Sunday, June 20 at 5:30 a.m., at the age of 92 years and 5 months following a brief illness.

She was born in the Netherlands in 1845. In 1870 she was married to Teunis Vander Stoep. In 1883 the family came to America settling in Sioux County, later moving to Orange City. Mr. Vander Stoep died in 1912. She also was preceded in death by four children.

Surviving are four children, Floris Vander Stoep in the Netherlands, Tryntje, Mrs. John De Roos of Springfield, South Dakota, Mrs. K. Vander Pol of Orange City, and Andrew Vander Stoep of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 27 grand children and 50 great grand children.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at the First Reformed church with the Rev. Mr. H. Colenbrander officiating. Interment was made in the local cemetery.

Information from the Genlias database: Teunis van der Stoep, age 27, marries Jannigje Kramp, age 24, daughter of Peter Kramp and Johanna Koelewijn, in Maasdam, on 2 October 1869. Jannetje Kramp is born 21 January 1845, in Zuid-Beijerland, daughter of Pieter Kramp and Johanna Koelewijn.
