Mrs. Wiig, 75, Resident Here 30 Years, Dies.
Funeral Services to Be Held at 2 O'Clock Saturday Afternoon at Barnard Funeral Home in Hawarden.
Mrs. Adolph Wiig, 75, a resident of this community about 30 years, died in the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be hald at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Barnard Funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Park cemetery in Sioux City. Mrs. Wiig, who had not been in good health for some time and recently suffered a fracture of the hip, was born March 21, 1872, in Illinois. Last February she and herhusband observed their golden wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Wiig came to this viciity with her husband from Sioux city and located on a farm, which they bought, about two and a half miles southwest of Hawarden. Besides her husband she is survived by a sister, who lives in Florida. Mr. Wiig was also in the hopital in Sioux City for a time after Mrs. Wiig fractured her hip. He returned home last week.
