Mrs. Herman Wilkens 86, Hawarden.
died Sept. 9, 1976, in a hospital at
Hawarden

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. Dwight
Rengstorf will officiate. Burial will be
in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction
of the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

Mrs. Wilkens. the former Edna
Caroline Stoltenberg was born May 5,
1890, in Sioux County. She was married
Nov. 29, 1911, at Hawarden. Mr.
Wilkens died July 20, 1926.

Mrs. Wilkens was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors are three daughters. Mrs.
Phil (Lucille) Schiefen of Hudson. S. D.'
Mrs. William (Fern) Humphreys of
Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Frank (Ruth)
Spicer of Conrad; three sons, Wilmer of
Marshalltown, and Lester and Glenn,
both of Hawarden.

Also three brothers, A P. Stoltenberg,
George Stoltenberg and H.
Stoltenberg, all of Hawarden. and a
sister. Mrs. Julia Palmer of Sioux City.
