RITES FRIDAY FOR JOHN S. LYNOTT

John S. Lynott, 63, of Sioux City and formerly of Hawarden, died Tuesday at an Iowa City hospital.

Mr. Lynott, a retired postal clerk, was born April 28, 1895, at Hawarden. Before going to Sioux City in 1954 he resided at Hawarden and for 30 years at Chicago. He married Lucille Schoening in Sioux City July 21, 1954. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, John of Detroit, Mich., Robert of Wakonda, Ill., Norman of Northbrook, Ill. and Brian of Sioux City; two daughters, Miss Eileen Lynott of Sioux City, now teaching at Waterloo, Ia., and Jane Schoening, at home; a brother, Robert of Sioux City, and three sisters, Miss Loretto Lynott and Mrs. John McCarthy, both of Hawarden, and Mrs. James Gehan of Sioux Falls.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral home in Morningside. The funeral will be held Friday.
