DEATH OF SEBASTIAN LUSCHEN. Passed Away Sunday at the Home of His Daughter, Mrs. Austin Muth.

Sebastian Luschen died shortly before noon Sunday [Jan. 17] at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Austin Muth, eleven miles southeast of Hawarden, following a lingering illness from heart trouble and complications. He had been bedfast for over ten weeks and his death was not unexpected. He was 56 years and 10 months of age. Besides Mrs. Muth he is survived by one son, Henry Luschen of Preston township, Plymouth county, and another daughter, Mrs. Maurice Vernon of Brunsville.

Mr. Luschen farmed for a good many years in the vicinity of Akron and Chatsworth and was well known in that vicinity. For the past six years he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Muth.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the German Lutheran church in Preston township and interment was made in the cemetery adjacent to the church.
