LUSCHEN RITES WILL BE TODAY. Resident of Craig and Ireton Vicinity Dies in Hawarden After Suffering Stroke Sunday

Funeral services for Henry Luschen, 52, of Ireton, will be at the Lutheran church at Craig at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Luschen died at the Hawarden hospital Monday [July 5]. He suffered a stroke Sunday and was brought to the hospital that evening.

Henry Luschen, who spent most of his life in Plymouth county, was born October 28, 1894, at Akron. He married Matilda Popken 23 years ago. Following his marriage he engaged in farming for 10 years in Preston township, Plymouth county. He then moved to Craig where he was employed in a lumber yard. A year ago he moved to Ireton. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors are his widow; three daughters, Coleen of Le Mars and Norma Leen and Imogene at home, and two sisters, Mrs. A. L. Muth of Hawarden and Mrs. Maurice Vernon of Brunsville.

HENRY LUSCHEN, 52, DIED MONDAY

Ireton: Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon for Henry Luschen, 52, at the Lutheran Church at Craig who died at the Hawarden hospital, Monday where he was taken following a stroke at the Dr. E. J. Bild jr. home where Mr. Luschen, his wife and family made their home. The past several months, Mr. Luschen had suffered strokes.
