The death angel hovered over the home of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Lush and bore away in his arms the infant form of their only daughter, Florence Lois, on Feb. 8. The little one was a little over a year old, having been born on Jan. 15, 1908, but had lived long enough to entwine herself about the heart strings of father, mother, four brothers and a fond grandmother, Mrs. Wm. Cook, who are left to miss her sweet baby smile and to feel the heart ache that only near and dear ones can know. Owing to bad roads and inclement weather, no funeral services were held at the house, just a prayer being offered, but the sad procession was met by Rev. Ambler who conducted a short service at the grave, where the little one was laid to rest Feb. 10.
