KLUVER, SCHMIDT, REICHEL

Clarence John Kluver, 71, of
Ireton died Tuesday, June 3,
1997, at the Brentwood Good
Samaritan Center in Le Mars,
Iowa.

Services were held Thursday,
June 5 at Christ Lutheran
1 Church in Grant Township,
rural Le Mars, with the Rev.
David Kramer, pastor of St.
John's Lutheran Church
E.L.C.A., officiating. Burial was
in Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Mr. Kluver was born Oct. 5,
1925 near Akron, Iowa, the son
of Hans and Tillie (Schmidt)
Kluver. He was baptized and
confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
He married Mildred Reichel on
Feb. 16, 1950, in Grant Township.
The couple farmed In the
Craig, Iowa, area.

He served with the military
police in the U.S. Army in
Korea.

He was a member of Christ
Lutheran Church.

Survivors Include his wife; two
sons, Larry of Ireton and Arlan
and his wife, Christine, of Le
Mars; three grandchildren; a
brother, Lowell of Lake Park,
Iowa; a sister, Leona Bergmark
of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and several
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by
his parents and a sister, Mildred
Boetger.
