February 16, 1976 - June 19, 2010
Mr. Matthew Muilenburg, age 34, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formerly of Orange City, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, June 23, at 2:00pm, at the American Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Keith Krebs will officiate. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Matthew Dale was born on February 16, 1976, in Oskaloosa, the son of Marvin Dale and Francine Helen (Vander Stoep) Muilenburg. He was raised at Orange City, where he graduated from the MOC-FloydValley High School. He also attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

He had been married to Anita Mai.

Matt had lived in South Dakota for the past several years. He pursued various occupations and was currently working for the Hanson Pipe Company.

He enjoyed fishing, reading, making beaded jewelry, and playing World of Warcraft. He was very knowledgeable about computers and could work with all kinds of technology.

Survivors include his son, Sean Matthew Muilenburg, of Sioux Falls; his parents, Marv and Fran, a grandmother, Bertha Vander Stoep, a sister and her husband, Lacey and Matt Jones, a special nephew, Patrick Matthew Muilenburg, and two other nephews, Kayden Mark and Avery Lee Jones, all of Orange City; a special friend, Lisa Janis, of Sioux Falls; and uncles and aunts, Clifford Muilenburg, Ladonna and Dennis Van Meeteren, Larry and Lynn Muilenburg, and Diane and Tim Daniels.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Marion and Esther Muilenburg and Roy Vander Stoep; and aunts and uncle, Brenda Mulder, Pat Muilenburg, and Tom Vander Broek.
