Wilhelmina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Gesink was born on July 18, 1901 at Maurice, Iowa. She attended the Orange City Christian School and lived her youth in rural Orange City.
She was united in marriage with Harry A. Colendbrander of Orange City, Iowa on February 27, 1924 at Orange City, Iowa. Their married life was lived in rural Orange City and Sioux Center. Mr. Colenbrander passed away October 1, 1964. In July, 1971 she entered the Orange City Heritage House Nursing Home where she was living at the time of her death on Saturday May 28, 1983 at the age of eighty-one years, ten months and ten days.
She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center, IA.
he is survived by three daughters, Adeline ( Mrs. Dick Lammers) of Maurice, IA; Eleanor (Mrs. Gordon Brink) of Orange City, IA; Sylvia (Mrs. Henk Aarsen ) of Orange City, IA; three brothers, Chris of Wayland, MI, Gerrit of Alamosa, CO.; William J. of Denver, Co.; four sisters, Bertha (Mrs. Gerrit Gesink); Johanna (Mrs N. Vegter): Christena (Mrs. Jake Op't Holt) and Elizabeth (Mrs. George Miersma) all of Orange City, IA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister and a brother.

Mrs. Harry Colenbrander, 82, of Orange City, died Saturday in a nursing home in Orange City.

Services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center; Dr. Peter Y. De Jong officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Colenbrander, the former Wilhelmina Gesink, was born July 18, 1901 in Maurice. She lived her youth in Orange City where she attended the Orange City Christian School.

She married Harry Colenbrander Feb. 27, 1924, at Orange City. They lived in the Orange City and Sioux Center area. He died Oct. 1, 1964, and she had been a resident of Heritage House since 1971.

She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dick (Adeline) Lammers of Maurice, Mrs. Gordon (Eleanor) Brink and Mrs. Henk (Sylvia) Aarsen, both of Orange City; three brothers, Chris of Wayland, Mich., Gerrit of Alamosa, Col., and William J. of Denver; four sisters, Mrs. Gerrit (Bertha) Gesink, Mrs. N. Johanna Vegter, Mrs. Jake (Christina) Op't Holt and Mrs. George (Elizabeth) Miersma, all of Orange City; six grandchildrfen and two great-grandchildren.
