PERSONAL MEMORIAM OF CPL. GLENN H. BEYER
Born--May 4, 1919.
Made Public Confession of Faith—September 20, 1934.
Enlisted in the Service—February 6, 1941.
Called to Service--February 11, 1941
Left United States for the Philippines as a member of the 60th Coast Artillery,
U. S. A.—March 30, 1941.
Corregidor Fell—May 6, 1942.
Held prisoner by Japanese from May 6, 1942, until October 24, 1944, when he experienced his Homegoing while being transported from Manila through the South China Sea.
An abiding message quoted from his last letter, January 3, 1942: "God is with me and whatever happens to me out here or to you people at home, it is His Will, and to doubt His works is to sin."
