Funeral Service: October 7, 1995 at VanEtten-Oolman-VanGelder Funeral home.
Interment: West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, IA.
Jacob William was the son of Hessel and Ida (May) Van Eizenga. His mother passed away in 1945. His father later married Tracy Freriks Kooiman. Hessel passed away July 8, 1972. Since the fall of 1972, Jacob has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vander Weide of Orange City. From 1974 to 1985, he attended the Hope Haven Work Program at Rock Valley.
For over ten years, he enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Arszona, for about six months each year.
In October of 1993 Jacob became a resident of the Hope Haven Residential Training Center at Orange City. In May of 1994, he tranferred to the Heritage House Nursing Home in Orange City.
No immediate family survives, but many friends w ill remember Jacob as a polite and happy person. who loved kindness and affection. He blessed the lives of all who knew him.
