MRS. LUNDGREN SERVICES HELD SATURDAY P.M.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hulda Lundgren were held at the Vander Ploeg Funeral home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. Mervin Nelson conducting. Burial was held in the Valley View cemetery here. Mrs. Lundgren died at the Panska Nursing home at Hawarden, Thursday, Dec. 15.

Mrs. Lundgren was born Hulda Helmer at Avesta, Sweden, June 13, 1879. She married Philip Lundgren in August, 1908 and had one daughter, Astrid, Mrs. Fred Bonthuis of Stromsburg, Neb. Mr. Lundgren died in 1951.

Mrs. Lundgren had spent several years at the Nursing home. She was widely known here, having worked some with her husband at tailoring and cleaning clothes. She was active in the Methodist church during the time the family lived here.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bonthuis, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gerrit Doorn, Joseph Oldenkamp, Harry Kersbergen, Lloyd Klein, Charles Jacobs and Leo Grossenburg.

Present for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bonthuis and children, Rosann and Philip of Stromsburg, Nebr., Carolyn, Mrs. and Mrs. Toby Wallenstein of Luverne, Minn. Another grandchild, Mary Jane, Mrs. D. D. Boyer of Santa Ana, Calif. was unable to attend.
