RITES HELD FOR ALGOT LUNDGREN

Funeral services for Algot Lundgren, 59, of Alcester, brother of Arnold Lundgren of Hawarden, were held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Alcester Baptish church. Rev. Lee Giddings officiated with interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Roger Anderson, with Mrs. Lotus Numsen as accompanist, sand "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Mr. Lundgren was found dead in his car early Tuesday morning of last week [Nov. 29] after he had failed to report for work at the Nora Creamery at his usual time. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Algot Russell Lundgren was born October 15, 1901, at Kiron, Iowa. When he was four years old he moved with his parents to Alcester and at an early age united with the Baptist church there, later transferring to the Hawarden Baptish church.

On December 18, 1924, he married Anna Busch of Hawarden. He worked for the railroad in Hawarden for many years. Later, he farmed near Alcester until about nine years ago when he moved into Alcester and was employed at the Nora Co-op Creamery.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Virgil, of Westminster, Calif.; a daughter, Delila Aaker of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Arnold of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Donkerbrook and Mrs. Ruby Collar, both of Sioux Falls; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lundgren; a sister, Abbie Berglund; a brother, Emer Lundgren; and an infant son, Hobert.
