MRS. LUNDGREN DIES AT AGE 91

Mrs. Lottie Lundgren, 91, mother of Emer and Arnold Lundgren of Hawarden, died at her home at 2612 South Duluth in Sioux Falls Saturday evening.

Funeral services were at 11 o'clock at the Miller Funeral home in Sioux Falls and at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Alcester, Rev. Paul Williams of Hawarden officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill cemetery at Alcester.

Mrs. Lundgren was born November 9, 1867 in Sweden. In 1890 she came to the United States and settled in Chicago. She moved to Kiron, Ia., in 1893 where she married Victor Lundgren February 28, 1897. In 1907 they moved to a farm southeast of Alcester. After his death in 1940 she moved to Sioux Falls where she had since resided.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Abbie, in 1937. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Donkerbrook and Mrs. Eddie Collar, both of Sioux Falls; three sons, Emer and Arnold of Hawarden and Algot of Alcester; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Her husband's obituary (Hawarden Independent, April 18, 1940) gives her maiden name as Johnson.
