From the Alton Democrat of Aug 20, 1892 Boyden Items.

Died: Mrs. P. Agen at her home three miles northeast of Boyden, Aug 11th, of cancer of the stomach. Funeral services were preached at the house at 8 o'clock a.m. Sunday. She leaves a husband and four small children to mourn her death. They have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
