Ann M. Scoblic, 39, of Dakota City, Neb. died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at her residence.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Nancy Tomlinson officiated.

Ann was born Nov. 8, 1961, at Bethesda, Md., the daughter of John and Edyth (Gerst) Scoblic. She attended school in Alton and the Nebraska School of Dog Grooming in 1981. She was employed with Pet Spa in Dakota City.

Miss Scoblic was a member of Sioux Valley Kennel Club and was active in dog showing and competition dog events.

Survivors include her special friend and companion, Pamela Marsh of Dakota City; three aunts and their husbands, Ann and Robert Bergner of Remsen, Beverly and John Johnson of Richlands, N.C. and Janice and Robert Cole of Spotsylvania, Va.; and an uncle, Ronald M. Ludwig of Alton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Shirley Ludwig.
