Elsie J. Landhuis, 78, of Boyden died Wednesday in a hospital in Sheldon.

Services were Saturday in the First Reformed Church in Boyden, Rev. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating.

Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery.

The deceased, the former Elsie J. Lubbers was born February 28, 1907, in Orange City. She married John D. Landhuis June 6, 1929, in Orange City. He died February 23, 1967.

She was a member of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Kleinwolterink of Sanborn and Harriet Cleveringa of Sioux Center; two sisters,, Matilda Schoep of Orange City and June Soepeland of Fort Dodge; two brothers, Edward and Raymond, both of Orange City, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
