Funeral services for G. B. Heeren, 70, retired insurance salesman of Matlock, were held Monday, April 19, at 1:30 P.M., at the First Reformed Church.

The Rev. John Vander Roest officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.

Mr. Heeren died at his home Friday, April 16.

He was born October 21, 1900 in German Valley, Il. He was married May 10, 1927 to Marie Uden at Boyden.

Survivors are his widow; a son, Duane, Red Oak; a brother, The Rev. Enos Heeren, Pella; two sisters, Miss Sarah Heeren of German Valley; Mrs. Henry P. Smit of Lennox, S.D., and four grandchildren.
