LOLA LANG SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, for Mrs. William Lang, 47, who died at Mapes Nursing Home Tuesday [Sept. 23] following a long illness. Rev. Herbert Young will be in charge of services to be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Associated Church. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lang was born Lola Jean Heldt to Mr. and Mrs. George Heldt in Alcester. She married her husband at Camp White, Oregon, on June 18, 1943.

She was a member of the Associated Church and the Women's Fellowship of the church. She lived in the Alcester and Hawarden areas all her life. A son, Jerry, preceded her in death.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her son Steven; a brother, Harold (Bud) Heldt; and a sister, Mrs. Richard (Doris) Templte of Kansas City, Kansas.
