Ralph Dwayne Lammers, Jr., 40, of Sioux Center, died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital.
Services were held on Monday at 1:30 P.M., at the Central Reformed Church. The Rev. David Casper officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.
Mr. Lammers was born October 8, 1944 at Sioux Center. He attended Christian School and the Sioux Center Community High School. He attended vocational school at Storm Lake.
He married Judy Bliek on June 21, 1967 at Sioux Center. After their marriage they lived in the Sioux Center area where he was a mason.
Mr. Lammers was District Chairman of the Round Table of the Boy Scouts of America, a Cub Scout Master for seven years and assistant scout master. He served on the Scout Leaders Training Staff.
He served in Korea during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Central Reformed Church and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ralph James and Dawaine Allen, both at home; his father, Ralph, of Sioux Center; six sisters, Mrs. Jake (Frieda) Vande Brake, Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Mouw, and Mrs. Fred (Evelyn) Lamfers, all of Sioux Center, Mrs. Richard J. (Ruth) Van Ravenswaay of Ireton, Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Schut of Sheldon, and Mrs. Allen (Lila) Van Dyke of Sibley.
